Rely on Past Success!

June 18, 2012

If you have don’t it before you can do it again. If you have gotten through a test before you can do it again, but always rely on the Lord. What God did for David, Daniel and Abraham he can do for you and so much more. If you are alive today you come from a lineage of survivors. Only the strong survive. You are stronger than what you know, and there is evidence of that in your life right now. You are where you are because of what you have overcome. You are where you are now because God has given you strength up until this VERY MOMENT to climb an uphill battle that may be in your near future. When challenges arise, we look to God for strength and courage. We can also look to our past for examples of how we have overcome battles that seemed insurmountable at the time. We came through victoriously and now have a testimony to share and will continue to do so.  God has a 100% success rate with helping us overcome the most overwhelming trials a person could ever face during the course of their lifetime.  We are nothing without him.  One of my favorite scriptures to reflect on which  shows an example of God’s true power in helping his people overcome is the story of “The Three Hebrew Boys”.  When they were being forced to worship a false idol, they refused and were thrown into a furnace. Despite of their pending demise, God sent an angel to stand with them and guard them from being set ablaze for being disobedient and through that, God was glorified because people were able to see that there was a higher power that they were up against. Don’t ever question or forget the power of God….he is an everlasting power source that we must be connected to and fully charged from at all times. Let this be a reminder of what we are capable of the next time we have a challenge, we can do all things through Christ which gives us the strength! (Philippians 4:13)
